The Kite Festival is back and set for this weekend in Meridian at Julius M. Kleiner Memorial Park.

This is a free event and the entire 103.5 Kissfm squad will be out flying kites for this Treasure Valley family event.

Kleiner Park has something going every week and as we roll into Summer the outdoor movie series will begin. There's no shortage of free family fun at this popular park especially when they turn on the sprinklers.

The weather is supposed to be breezy in the warm '70s for Saturday and that makes for perfect flying conditions.

• Cost: Free
• Food: Various food trucks will be available to serve.
• Contests: Boise Music Festival giveaways from 11:00 A.M. - 1:00 P.M. and 500 free kits to be given away.
