This is a given right? Idaho and National French Fry Day That's what the world will be celebrating on Saturday and I just feel like someone needs to do a potato ticker type parade or something. I mean, we're responsible for free fries across the country

I came across some specials that will deep fry you some delicious fries for free. Idaho this is your weekend because you get two days of crispy love.

Let's begin with Friday because most places won't acknowledge this day because it isn't official till Saturday. Idahoans represent with the best of the best beginning with Simplot's annual fry-off. Things kick-off at 4 p.m. tonight with donations for the Idaho Food Bank all night. You can even purchase a $15 donation and get a "FryIdaho" t-shirt. Everyone needs one of those! Sorry, Iowa.

The tasty foodie lovers holiday officials begins on Saturday and it's not just local businesses that are getting in on the fun. You can peep these favorites like McDonald's and Burger King to score fries. You could actually make a day out of traveling around the city and make your lunch - fries.

• Simplot Fry-Off (2,000 pounds of fries per hour) 4 p.m. - 7 p.m. $15 donation to Idaho Food Bank gets you a "FryIdaho" t-shirt. This is happening at JUMP.in Downtown Boise.
• Boise Fry Company $1 dollar small russets all day Saturday.
• 2nd Annual Lamb Weston National Fry Day Celebration at Albertson's Market in Meridian. Fries noon-4 p.m. Donations go to the Idaho Food Bank and receive "I love fries" t-shirts.
• Burger King is doing large French fries for $1 via Mobile Order & Pay on the BK app.
• Carl's Jr is giving away free small fries and beverage with the purchase of any Western Bacon Cheeseburger or joining the email list. 
• Del Taco host $1 small or medium fries with app.
• IHOP is doing unlimited fries with Classic Steakburgers.
• McDonald's for McDelivery with Uber Eats orders receive free medium fries between 11 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. You'll need Uber eats app.
• Shari's hosts this delicious special from 6 p.m. to midnight. Get a favorite slice of pie on a basket of fries for dine-in only ($1)
