West Ada County Offering Free Breakfast & Lunch During School Closures
We have so many heroic events happening all over the Treasure Valley and I received a call today about another great.
Nancy (the lunch lady now the assistant manager) just called to make sure the city knew about free breakfast and lunches being given out by several Ada County schools.
This is a great offer considering we're all stuck inside during the coronavirus and it even looks like we'll be going a little longer according to the Governor. Nancy told me that her schools are giving away free means from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. These combo meals are similar to what the Boys & Girls Clubs are doing right now.
Each location will be giving away lunch for the day that also includes a breakfast meal. Worried about the COVID-19 social distancing rule? Meals will be provided in the drive-thru in bus lanes areas that include specially designated areas. They call these walk-up Grab-N-Go meals.
Nancy was specific about all families showing up to ensure everyone has meals and refrigerate them if needed. ⭐️
