Just weeks ago, we broke the news that a familiar name and face would be hitting primetime, national television.

We wish it were someone better--and for reasons more positive than this.

Convicted murderer Lori Vallow, who is guilty of killing her children in Eastern Idaho and whose trial was held in Boise for over a month, was featured on Dateline recenlty.

Unlike most specials, where Dateline will cover the crimes and talk to investigators or victims--this special is different. For the first time ever, Lori Vallow sat one on one in an interview where, she claimed she would 'tell the truth'.

Take a look at how much drama was taking place online when the interview was first announced by Dateline:

Viewers were not happy about Vallow's time on Dateline!

After two hours on NBC in primetime -- the consensus was clear. Despite teasing that Keith Morrison and Lori Vallow spent over an hour together, viewers were shown, primarily, re-runs of old Vallow coverage and very little of her interview.

All of this went on, leading up to the next 'big show' for Vallow-- a trial in Arizona for conspiracy to commit first-degree murder in Arizona. This time, it was surrounding the death of her niece's ex-husband.

True crime junkies tuned in as Vallow often talked herself in circles while attempting to defend herself and online compilations were made of how often the State of Arizona had to declare...'Objection!' mid-sentence.

The judge was insanely patient.

After just 30-minutes of deliberation, the jury found Idaho's 'doomsday mommy' guilty of conspiracy to kill.

In Idaho, Lori was sentenced to life without parole. Chad, he husband, was later was sentenced to death.
