It's Cinco De Mayo and I'm sitting at the station looking out at lush landscape that is the Boise Greenbelt day dreaming of what would of been a Cinco De Mayo to remember... or maybe one to not remember after many Tequila shots. Unfortunately there will be no Tequila shots but I would like to share 3 Tequila bars we can't go to on this Cinco De Mayo.

The Matador  - From Patron to Luna Azul to Los Altos Reposado, The Matador makes a memorable Margarita and has a wide selection of Tequilas to satisfy even the biggest aficionado. The vibe downtown and at the village is very cool and definitely says date night or nigh out period.

Diablo and Sons - My experience with the food was just o.k. but this blog is about Tequila Bars and this place definitely deserves an honorable mention and to be a stop on the weekend Tequila trail.

Amano  - With over 50 Tequilas ad 75 Mezcals, Amano has super creative Mexican themed drinks and their food is to die for. This place is so next level that they fly in their masa from Oaxaca. If you're in the 2C this place is a must but I never hesitate to make the drive from Boise because it's well worth it. .
