Do you know why they're called "The Band Perry"? Because that's their last name! The band consists of real life siblings Kimberly Perry, Reid Perry, and Neil Perry. The siblings have been performing together as a band since 2005.

 

#3 - The Crossover

TBP first got big time exposure with their song "If I Die Young" in June 2010. While it performed fantastically on country radio, the band also had some success with the song in the pop world. "If I Die Young" hit #36 at it's peak on the pop charts, a feat pretty rare for a country act to achieve.

On their second album Pioneer, The Band Perry recruited help from legendary music producer Rick Rubin. Rubin has produced for some of the biggest acts in music, including The Beastie BoysLL Cool JKanye WestSlipknotMetallica, and Lady Gaga.

In February, the band announced they're working on their next album titled My Bad Imagination. Surprisingly, it'll be a strictly pop album! So could this mean you'll be hearing The Band Perry on 103.5 KISS FM? We'll see...
