5 Things to Keep an Eye on This Week In Boise

I've never posted up anything so vague when it comes to just a ton of random events but this seems to make sense. First, I have a certain number of blogs to post each week and this checks one-off ✅

Second, there are a lot of events and things to keep an eye on heading into the week. We have Spider-Man flying through the Idaho Center, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, and Impeachment hearing and so much more.

We have a Superbowl and It looks like the Kansas City Chiefs will take on the San Francisco 49'ers on Sunday, February 2, 2020. That just happened and there will be a ton of talk this week. That's not too local but the Boise State Broncos just added a few powerhouse football players to the 2020 roster. Say hello to USC and NC State former commits, Brock Miller and Kyle Juergens. Saddle up Boise because we have some big teams rolling through the blue. There are some pretty big tv contractual arguments happening and things are getting interesting.

Martin Luther King Jr. The day is Monday and it's more than a day off. We should take a few moments and educate our kids who this amazing man was. This is more than history. Use this time to start up a conversation and begin a teaching moment.

The Idaho Suicide Hotline taps a 3 digit number for your help. This is such an epidemic and we never know which side it's coming from. Mental health is so important and unfortunately, we don't always know how each other is doing. If you know someone that needs help you can now dial 211 from any cell and follow the prompts.

The Canyon County Kids Expo is this weekend and there will be tons of celebrities that include Spider-Man, Paddington Bear, Pete the Cat, Reptile Adventures and more. Get times and details by following this LINK.

The Impeachment Hearings. This is just a mess and I'm not posting this to discuss politics. Just be aware that our feeds will be populated by all kinds of crazy news. Trust your gut, do your own research and don't listen to everyone else. Knowledge is power. Don't spout off to your coworkers what you don't really know. We all owe it to ourselves to be educated by facts.
