Kekeluv Sounds Off on Adam Levine’s #Metoo Video

It's moments like this that I'm proud to be a man. How many times have you heard that this guy or that guy makes the good ones look bad? Adam Levine represents millions of good men in his new video, "Girls Like You."

Mateo texted me with a link to the new Maroon 5 video we had been discussing this week. I was viewer 1,276 which means - it dropped seconds after I clicked on the link. Powerful. 15 minutes later it was at 97,000 views and at 7 a.m it's now at 689,000.

The #metoo movement went on video display tonight from some of the most powerful women across the globe. Adam Levine is every woman and man's crush. Who doesn't love this guy and I applaud him saluting all these women including the movement. I'm sure there will be some troll trying to discredit Adam but I pay no attention to them because it blurs the message.

I could write about the movement and strong women I know for hours. Let's roll through some of the ones in the video.

I'm sure there are some men who are EXHAUSTED from hearing about the #metoo movement. Here's a different way of looking at it. I was talking to my wife's mom and made a comment about one of the cases,

Can you believe that she having to go through ALL of that and how strong she must be?

I was talking about the movie, The Post with Tom Hanks and Meryl Streep. She plays the owner of the NYC Post and has to make choices that have changed etched a place in American history. I'm sure you've heard of The Watergate Scandal with Richard Nixon.

I was referring to her when my wife's mom said in my response,

Haha! Yes, I can believe it. Everyday of my life.

She put me in my place without trying but let me know that being a woman isn't easy and the #metoo movement is a testament to how many women have been fighting this battle. This video will get criticized for something because that's what people do. I salute Adam Levine for putting himself out there and giving all those women an even larger platform for the message - for themselves.
