Aerial Fireworks Now Illegal To Buy In Idaho

Aerial fireworks are no longer allowed to be sold in Idaho according to the Idaho Attorney General's Office.

Before this ban, there was a loophole which would allow you to buy these aerial fireworks if you signed a waiver that said you would not light them within state limits. Major fire disasters such as what we saw happen to Table Rock last summer are major reasons fire departments and public officials have voiced concern for wanting to shut down that loophole.

Effective immediately, all firework stands will be required to remove these fireworks from their shelves. Large events, such as the City of Boise display can obtain these fireworks with proper permits.
