After Boise's Kellen Moore Gets Fired, Dallas QB Says 'I'm Upset'

Have you ever known someone that just can't let go of a past relationship? Perhaps it was romantic or strictly platonic--there's a parting of ways and even though the "parting" has already happened--you still find yourself always hearing about the past? It happens--and is happening in Dallas, Texas, a lot these days.

In case you've been living under a rock, Kellen Moore was fired from the Dallas Cowboys several week ago now.

There's no denying that Kellen Moore has been a prominent figure in football for a long time now--even before entering the NFL!

Kellen Moore: Dominance Over The Years

Kellen Moore's 50 career victories as the starting quarterback at Boise State University remain the most by any QB in NCAA football history. Moore, who was touted as one of the most brilliant minds in college football has now taken those brains to the NFL where Dallas fans can't get enough of him.

Even though he has been fired--GONE--in Dallas for weeks, they can't stop focusing on him. Let's also remember that he wasn't even unemployed for a full 24-hours, as the Los Angeles Chargers quickly signed him to be their new Offensive Coordinator.

The fan base couldn't have been more critical of Kellen during his time at Dallas--despite the fact that statistically, the Cowboys had one of the best rated offenses in the NFL! Now that he's gone, the fan base continues to rip Kellen even though their woes should be over? Why is a guy as nice and successful as Kellen so polarizing to these people?

While the fan base goes on and one, one media outlet asked starting quarterback Dak Prescott about Kellen Moore's dismissal recently. Usually in an instance like this, the player will say something non-committal like "we wish him well".

Not the case with Dak.

During his interview with The Dallas Morning News, Dak Prescott said "I'm upset" and continued on to say he's happy for Kellen--but apparently blowing him out of Dallas would not have happened, were it up to Dak.

In Dak's 7-years at Dallas, Kellen has always played a role in his development. Now, Kellen is gone.
