Boise State’s Ahmed Hassanein Makes Major Waves In NFL Debut
Ahmed Hassanein, Boise State Defensive Lineman, was selected 196 overall by the Detroit Lions.
He is the first Egyptian player to ever be drafted to the NFL and is making history for doing so. He also had an extremely memorable NFL draft all starting at the NFL Combine after he was spotted barking back at the coaches. Then when he was drafted just moments later he got down on one knee and proposed to his girl friend. Fans are already falling in love with him.
Ahmed Hassanein signed a contract worth a little over 4 million in just his rookie year alone which is extremely impressive. Seeing as he is now moving onto the NFL it will definitely be amazing watching another Boise State Player make waves other than Ashton Jeanty.

He had his first official NFL game this past week where all eyes were on him. While this is still the preseason for the NFL it's still a big deal for Ahmed Hassanein to be making major plays which he definitely did.
In a film breakdown on YouTube one football fan took it upon themselves to breakdown Hassanein's plays and skills and everyone in the comments is thrilled to see how great of a player he is. It's certainly impressive and not lost on anyone that he has only been playing since 2018 yet is certainly capable of being a great player in the NFL. Hopefully he will get some play time in the regular season too, we can't wait to see how well he truly does!
