The Western Idaho Fair is underway in Garden City for a few more days--but the Treasure Valley is still talking about The All-American Rejects concert that took place on Thursday night. The nostalgic band that was the favorite of most millennials at some point in their youth stormed the nation recently amid their 'backyard tour' and one of their stops just happened to be here, at the fair.

Hundreds of fans were able to meet them prior to their show courtesy of The Record Exchange and a local radio station. While they were signing albums and shaking hands, lead singer Tyson Ritter said to one fan of Boise, 'We love it here!'.

The concert drew a crowd that many haven't seen in a long, long time. Fans piled in to the fair to see the band play all of their hits and some new stuff, too!

While on stage at the Western Idaho Fair, the lead singer of The All-American Rejects shared a lengthy message about life, noting that he's lost important people in his life this year and knows he isn't alone.

Before slowing down the concert to play a song titled 'There's A Place', he gave a heartfelt speech that resonated with thousands:

When you get forty and you turn around and look at it--life is a lot more damn complicated, isn't it? All I know is every night I come up here and I look at these crowds, and I'm choosing life, man. I'm going to live for all of those people that don't get to live tonight--so if you've got someone you love, someone you miss, maybe this is a moment to reflect on that

You can see a video of the emotional moment, which was captured by the band both on stage and in the crowd, below:
