While Idaho certainly isn't known for being an epicenter for queer people who identify as LGBTQIA+, we're still home to thousands of gay and lesbian here in the Gem State.
But, who's outnumbering who here?
Idaho is one of the least populated states by LGBTQIA+ people, with only 2.8% of the population identifying as such.
We thought it'd be fun to take a look at some recent statistics comparing the population of gay men vs. lesbians here in Idaho, and we're glad we did. The numbers are honestly really surprising.
Per recent data, lesbians outnumber gay men in Idaho by almost 2-to-1, with women making up 61% of all queer people in Idaho. Interesting, isn't it?
