Boise's Most Popular Rooftop Bar Announces Summer Opening Date

This week has been the ultimate tease--sunny, warm, and it has us wondering: is summer REALLY on the way?

It's Idaho and really, who knows..but a few signs are pointing to...YES.

With summertime will come a whole bunch of 'just Boise things' that can't be beat anywhere else in the nation. Some of the very best outdoor activities on the globe, outdoor concerts, patio season, family gatherings and bbq's--and yes: rooftop drinking.

While we look forward to visiting all of these this year--what may be Boise's most popular has finally announced their opening date for the Summer of 2026 and it's under a month away.

Barbacoa's 'Luna Bar' is bustling each summer, known for their next level views of Boise's foothills and those buy-one-get-one drinks from 4:00 to 6:00 daily. That very bar will be opening up on Tuesday, May 5th!

The rooftop is open Thursday-Sunday each week once summer is underway. See their announcement online, below:

While boise may not be home to the biggest selection of rooftops as compared to say, Las Vegas or New York City--there are indeed rooftops that serve drinks and offer amazing Treasure Valley vibes and views.
