Monday Night Football Invades Boise for Final State Football Game
As football season comes to a head for many national and collegiate teams, it's all on the line at the high school ranks here in Idaho.
Last week, a total of three Treasure Valley area high schools played for a state title and two won.
A fourth had to sit back and watch--because of scheduling issues.
Bishop Kelly vs Hillcrest doesn't have the luxury of playing on a Friday night, as both are used to. The teams will have to play ON A MONDAY because Alberstons stadium wasn't available to host the game last week.
It's going to be a unique feel to a game that is always held on Friday.
The game is set to take place tonight, Monday, November 24th at 7:00 p.m. at Albertsons Stadium.
Bishop Kelly enters the game totally undefeated yet is the #2 seed in the 5A bracket.
The across State foe, Hillcrest, has one loss on the season and will be playing for the State Title as the #1 seed in the 5A bracket.
Elsewhere in the Treasure Valley, Homedale in 4A and Nampa Christian in 3A both brought home some hardware to the Treasure Valley as State Champions!
While Bishop Kelly's game on the Blue Turf is the last of the season--Boise State has one game left, on the road, and it's about time you figure out where you plan to watch the last of the regular season fun!
