Idaho’s Bogus Basin Launches New Hours, Season Pass Sale For 2026-2027
It has been quite the year for snow bunnies here in the Treasure Valley and for season pass holders at our beloved Bogus Basin.
While most folks are used to being able to ski, snowboard, and tube along Bogus Basin and at all of Idaho's amazing winter resorts--this year has been significantly different.
Where is all of the snow??
Record low amounts of snow have fallen at Bogus Basin and they aren't alone. Resorts all over the Western United States are seeing the same decline. While it isn't the fault of Bogus Basin that their slopes haven't been great this year, pass holders have been pretty disappointed, regardless.
In short, this year has been a reminder to never take the snow for granted!
As we work our way into spring, Bogus Basin has announced a sale looking ahead to the 2026-2027 season.
The 10-day sale launched last week and will be offering season passes at discounted rates for next season. The good news? Unlike everything else in the world that is getting more expensive these passes will hold the same price this year as they did last year.
There is more good news, as well. Bogus Basin passes will no longer have blackout dates or holiday restrictions-- this opens up open to close access for Value Season Pass holders.
Bogus Basin is also changing their hours of operation. Lifts will start operating earlier, at 9:00 a.m. and will close at 9:00 p.m. on Sunday's through Thursdays -- with a 10:00 p.m. closure on Friday and Saturday nights.
Who doesn't love night skiing!?
There are a limited number of season passes, so if you're serious about hitting the slopes, get yours now before they are all gone.
