'Keep it Coming': Boise's Bogus Basin Finally Gets Solid Snowfall

'Winter, is that you!?'

That's how Boise's beloved Bogus Basin opened up their Facebook post after a long weekend of getting roasted online for not having any snow. No snow? That's hardly the fault of Bogus Basin. Weather has been record-breaking in terms of a LACK of snowfall and temperatures have been so warm, making snow has hardly even been an option for the local ski hill.

The snow bunnies getting grumpy online? They get it too--it's all an act of God--or perhaps, a lack thereof. Everyone is just anxious to get on the slopes!

There's 'heavy snowfall' being reported at Bogus Basin and it has been falling since Sunday, January 4th with the announcement that 'full hours' are opened up at the ski hill! That's 10:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.

Things could be looking up for winter at Bogus and beyond!

Obviously as of today, the snow that is falling isn't enough to make Bogus the winter wonderland that most are hoping for--but the flakes are indeed on the way!

Warm temperatures have been impacting plenty of other Idaho ski slopes, as well--with the likes of Tamarack and Sun Valley Ski Resort opening later than planned this season due to the unique weather conditions.
