Costco ‘Chaos’ Ends in Boise as Beloved Item Returns to Shelves

Oh Costco, how we love thee! Is there a grocery store or wholesale warehouse anywhere in America that is as beloved as you!?

Whether it's for great deals or even controversial clothing dupes--the prices, the quality, the experience and yes, the food court, are unmatched anywhere in America.

Our very own Boise Costco location is one of the most popular anywhere--but some recent 'upgrades' have left customers feeling frustrated over the last several weeks: one item, with an aggressive cult following, was totally removed from the store's shelves.

Take a look at which Costco item went MISSING from shelves for a bit and what folks had to say about it! 

The rotisserie chicken is by far and large one of the most popular items! 

Did shoppers cancel their membership over this!?

Likely not--but people were certainly surprised and yes--very grumpy.

So what was going on with this thing? The kitchen space that is used to make and prepare the popular chickens was under construction--for upgrades! As exciting as that is, shoppers were forced to wait until September, according to the signage, to get their chickens again! It seems construction may have ran a smidge long--but now, they're back in business.

The world-famous chicken is a steal of a deal--ringing in at just $5 for a whole entire chicken, lovers of this thing will chop it up and have lunch and dinner covered for a whole work week!

The popularly discussed downsides of these chickens are the amount of sodium in them--they contain a lot of salt! Shoppers don't seem to mind, however.

The good news for chicken lovers, however? They're back and local Costco groups are already rejoicing!
