Oh Costco, how we love thee! Is there a grocery store or wholesale warehouse anywhere in America that is as beloved as you!?

Whether it's for great deals or even controversial clothing dupes--the prices, the quality, the experience and yes, the food court, are unmatched anywhere in America.

Our very own Boise Costco location is one of the most thriving anywhere--but some recent 'upgrades' are leaving customers feeling frustrated: one item, with an aggressive cult following, is off of the shelves and will be for a minute.

Take a look at which Costco item is going to be MISSING from shelves for a bit and what folks have to say about it! 

The rotisserie chicken is by far and large one of the most popular items! 

Will shoppers want to cancel their memberships over this!?

Likely not--but expect people to be surprised and a bit grumpy.

So what is going on with this thing? The kitchen space that is used to make and prepare the popular chickens is under construction--for upgrades! As exciting as that is, shoppers are reporting that signage states the chickens won't be back until September!

The world-famous chicken is a steal of a deal--ringing in at just $5 for a whole entire chicken, lovers of this thing will chop it up and have lunch and dinner covered for a whole work week!

The popularly discussed downsides of these chickens are the amount of sodium in them--they contain a lot of salt! Shoppers don't seem to mind, however.

The good news for chicken lovers, however? This only impacts the Boise location--your beloved chickens remain available at the other locations in the Treasure Valley!
