Two Arrested After Deadly Boise Drive-By Shooting
Boise is often touted as one of the safest places to live anywhere in America. Whether it be by national news outlets, extensive research findings, or simply by word of mouth from locals that know and love the Treasure Valley.
Sunday, news broke of a fatal shooting in the early morning hours.
The crime is still very much under investigation, but officials have announced that two arrests have been made, just days later.
In a release from the Boise Police Department, Chief Chris Dennison updated the public by saying:
Investigations like this take time, and the work our detectives put in to identify these suspects and gather the evidence needed to make arrests is significant. We’re also grateful for the assistance from our law enforcement partners in Meridian, Caldwell and Nampa, as well as the members of our community who provided information to help move this investigation forward
One arrest made was 18-year-old Ulisses Macareno. The young man, pictured below, was arrested and booked into the Ada County Jail on one count of 'Murder I - Aiding & Abetting' which is a Felony.

The second arrest made was a 17-year-old minor.
Police say that evidence indicates this minor was the one that fired a weapon during the shooting and is facing one Felony charge of 1st Degree Murder. Because they are a minor, a name is not being released and they will be held in Canyon County's Juvenile Detention Center.
The case is still very much under investigation.
