We're very thankful that first responders were able to extinguish both fires--but not without significant damage being done to the homes.
In a recap by the Boise Fire Department, heartbreaking news was shared following the fire on Bobran Court:
At approximately 2:50 am this morning, Boise Fire was dispatched to a reported residential structure fire on the 7600 block of W Bobran Ct. Upon arrival, firefighters found flames visible from the front of a single-story home. The homeowner confirmed that all residents made it out of the house, except the family’s dog. Firefighters quickly worked to extinguish the fire while also searching for the dog. Sadly, the dog was found deceased inside the home.
Meanwhile, up towards Table Rock, another fire broke out:
At 04:36 am this morning, Boise Fire was dispatched to a residential structure fire on the 2300 block of E. Table Rock Rd. A neighbor had woken up to find a nearby house on fire, and attempted to alert the occupants of the home, but there was no answer at the front door. Battalion 1 arrived on scene and found a single-family residence with heavy fire showing from the roof. After confirming that nobody was home or inside the structure, firefighters initially fought the fire defensively from the outside of the structure due to heavy fire conditions and the collapse of the roof.
There were no civilian or firefighter injuries at the second fire.
