How are Twitter users in Boise handling the madness?

There's so much happening with Swift right now. The new album announcement was just the beginning. We've been told to expect a new song from Taylor before Friday. We don't know anything else. No title. No theme. No hints. Just a new song dropping by midnight.

There's also much discussion about her new album cover. Is her hair wet because that's how Kim Kardashian styles in? Is the chain around her neck a reference to her archenemy Katy Perry's song "Chained to the Rhythm?" Why is it in black and white?

The next fodder for the rumor mill is a different connection between Swift and Perry. The video for Katy's "Swish Swish" has an eerily similar feel to Tay Tay's "Bad Blood" video, and that's not all. Katy recently tweeted this:

What was Taylor Swift's alter-ego's name in the "Bad Blood" video? You guessed it: Catastrophe.

Does this mean the girls are performing together at the VMAs this weekend? That's the word on the street.
