It's around the corner and continues to feel closer and closer as the weather gets better: Boise Pride Festival.

With this year being the 30th year in the events long and continually growing story, new aspects are being added to further invite and welcome all different people and interests! Now not to brag here, but having an inside source to the Boise Pride Committee, I do know this: they've been dreaming up this volleyball tournament for a LONG TIME! In fact, it almost happened last year! But after some serious and strategic planning, this event has finally been unveiled with excited planners and volleyball players, alike!

This tournament will be going down on Saturday, June 15th (that's the Saturday of Boise Pride weekend) and it will be held over at Ann Morrison Park west of the water fountains.

For years I've driven past that sand volleyball court on Parkcenter Blvd and it's clear how many people love to get out and play!

This tournament will be a 4-on-4 format with 3 men and 1 female required for teams--however you may have more than one female on a team. Register your team before May 15th and save $20 on registration fees--paying only $80!

There will be cash prizes and pride swag for winning teams across all THREE divisions: Open (advanced volleyball), Competitive (intermediate volleyball), and Recreational (just for fun).
