Last night was an exciting one in downtown Boise as Boise Pride Festival lit up the Idaho State Capitol Building in the colors of the pride flag. A reminder to all that this weekend, we celebrate a simple principle: Love Is Love.

As always, we're excited to be partnering with Boise Pride and you'll be able to stream the entire event right here in our website and via our free app, if you want to follow along!

This event is so important to the core of 103.5 KISS FM. We hope you'll join us in watching and celebrating.

As stated on their event page:

So here's the deal. Tomorrow afternoon, Saturday September 12th, we'll be sending out an app alert to remind you pride is kicking off! You'll be able to tap in and follow along LIVE from your phone via our app or online right here, at 1035kissfmboise.com!

Details on the entertainment from Boise Pride, below:

Headlining virtual Boise Pride Festival is Grammy Award-nominated singer, songwriter, actor, activist, and performer Alex Newell. He is well-known for bringing the character of Wade “Unique” Adams to life on Glee, one of network television’s first transgender characters. He has used his platform to uplift LGBTQ youth through advocacy with The Trevor Project and GLAAD, among other organizations. Newell can currently be seen on NBC’s Zoe’s Extraordinary Playlist.
Co-headlining virtual Boise Pride Festival is singer, songwriter, poet and spoken word artist Mary Lambert, well-known for her marriage equality anthem, “Same Love.”
We are also thrilled to present American synth-pop band, Ariana and the Rose, singer-songwriter Be Steadwell, English soul singer, and former lead singer of M People Heather Small. The title track of her 'Proud' album has gone on to become an LGBTQ+ anthem and has been sought as the soundtrack for events by many from the Olympics to Oprah.
Boise Pride Festival welcomes drag performances by Ongina (Rupaul’s Drag Race season 1 and All-Stars 5), the singing bearded Idaho queen, MissFyre, a Hometown Drag Spectacular, and Brita Filter (Rupaul’s Drag Race season 12) and Blackberri, the “Bearded Beauty of Houston,” presenting a special segment about Drag Out The Vote, a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization whose mission is to get out the vote using the power of the art and activism of drag.
Special appearances by Mayhem Miller (RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 10 & RuPaul’s Drag Race All-Stars Season 5), Dr. Marvin Alviso of Family Medicine Residency of Idaho Boise Mayor Lauren McLean.
