Spring is almost here, and everyone is going to want to be outside. The sun is finally going to start shining, the sun is going to set later, and it's going to be a whole lot warmer. Spring is arguably one of the best seasons in Boise because everyone is just so excited that it is no longer rainy, cold, and snowy.

Luckily Boise winter this year was not difficult at all. Still, we're looking forward to Spring in the outside activities that come with it, including one major event that comes around every year to the Treasure Valley, quaffing.

Every year, Parilla Grill in downtown Boise hosts a quaffing tournament. If you don't know what quaffing is, it is a beer drinking tournament with teams of four who race to chug beer but do it with style. It's always a good time, and everyone is always in a great mood.

It kicks off this year, tomorrow at 1:00 p.m. At the Parrilla Grill in HydePark. Everyone will be competing to win, and this year's theme is quaffing things, a play on Stranger Things. Hopefully, everyone will be wearing their best Stranger Things outfits.

Every year this tournament draws quite the crowd and is one of the most popular events in the Treasure Valley. If you want to see more details you can below happy quaffing!

Perfect Pho Destinations for Boise Spring Weather

When it comes to rainy days in the Treasure Valley, few things are better than a nap and some relaxation. One of those "things" that makes the list is a warm, large, bowl of pho. A popular Vietnamese soup--it consists of broth, rice noodles, herbs and meat (or veggies). Looking to curl up on a rainy spring day in Boise? Choose one of these awesome local restaurants.
