
Boise Ranks ‘Top 50 in America’ on the List You Wish Didn’t Exist
Living in the Treasure Valley is quite the privilege--is there a place as special as this? Surrounded by some of the greatest outdoor activities in the world and in one of the safest communities in America it's tough to complain.
We top a lot of lists here in Boise--often times for thing that residents love to brag about. Safety, beauty, access, livability, quality of retirement. The list goes on.
Sometimes, however, a list comes along that reminds us of a brutal reality that comes with living in Boise these days: it just isn't that cheap anymore.
A recent study lists rent prices nationwide and won't you believe it? Boise is one of the most expensive cities not only in the Northwest, but in America!

What do you think about all of this!? Yes...we need some relief!
Seeing that New York City and San Francisco are at the top of this list is no surprise--but there is no way that Boise, Idaho should only be 40 slots lower than cities of this size and population.
According to the survey, one-bedroom units in Boise are up almost a full percentage points at 0.8% at $1,330 and despite a 3% decrease, two-bedroom units are going for a whopping $1,450.
