“WHERE’S THE SUN”; Boise Hits a Record Low for Sunshine

One of the best parts about living in Idaho is getting to experience all four seasons. it's one of the biggest reasons that people fall in love with living here. Winter in Idaho is amazing between all of the winter sports and cozy coffee shops there is a ton of things to do during the winter season.

Sadly, this winter hasn't quite felt the same. There has been no snow in the Boise area and it's starting to get everyone talking. People online are starting to feel quite sad that we haven't experienced the snowfall yet but despite their being no snow there is also no sun! For the past week Boise has experienced absolutely no sun.

In fact it's been a record breaking amount of no sun!

According to this TikTok this is one of the longest periods of time that we have gone without sun in the Treasure Valley:

As of yesterday we were tied for the 16th longest time with no sun, who knows how much higher we've climbed since!

According to weather forecasts the sun is supposed to come out tomorrow but who knows... the same thing was said about today. Plus Boise weather changes so much it's almost impossible to keep up with! We hope that the sun comes out soon because honestly, we're beginning to forget what it looked like!
