Local spots in Boise are what make this city one of the best to live in for foodies. On almost every corner or on every street you're sure to find some of your local food favorites. Just as exciting as it is to try new places some of the local restaurants have been around for years and years. While everyone has their local faves one of the hardest parts is when it shuts down.

Sadly it is been hard to watch as many local restaurants, cafes, and diners have all closed down here in Boise. Regular customers are crushed when their favorite restaurants are no longer open and their favorite food places are no longer available to eat at.

We were curious to see which local restaurants and food places were the ones that people missed the most. It gives us hope that maybe one day these places that still have fans may return just in a new location.

People had all sorts of favorites that they were missing including chains like The Cheesecake Factory. Its hard when places you've grown to love end up leaving town but considering so many new ones get added we're lucky that there's always great food options in the area. That's part of the reason why Boise is always a great spot for foodies.
