“Don’t Leak”; Should Boise ‘Secret Spots’ Be Posted Online?
Boise goes viral... A LOT. And its raised the question how far is too far when it comes to posting about Boise online? Well the question seems to have been answered. It seems too far is when you start to reveal all of Idaho's secret spots.
Sometimes Idahoans like to keep the most magical and favorite parts a secret and one influencer broke these rules when posting about a spot on the Boise Greenbelt. Everyone in the comments was more than upset when they came across this video. This was last year and since then others have been posting about it as well and using the first video as their defense when they get attacked for doing so.

While we understand some things are best left a secret the Boise Greenbelt is a very well-known and public place and surely people knew to the area were to come across the tree and the "secret spot" at one point.
This is now the second time that we have seen the "secret spot" posted and both times that it has been people get wildly defensive and upset. Now we can understand that sometimes things are better left offline but according to the comment section pretty much all of Boise knew about it already! One person even said their mom got married under that tree.
What do you think? Should some spots in Boise remain offline and be kept a secret? Or should we be sharing so that other people can experience it too?
