Boise Bar Blasted for ‘Inhumane’ Treatment of Homeless Man [Video]

A video posted online by a local Boise bar and concert venue is beginning to create waves not only in Boise's live music and 'punk' scene, but across the entire Treasure Valley.

We're lucky to live in a place where folks look out for one another and even amid Boise's insane growth over the last few years, there is a spirit of community here that is upheld by most. We're often referred to as a safe city, a clean city, and a city for everyone.

A video posted by one Boise bar offers insight--and drama--into a struggle it seems that they've been having with a homeless man on their property. The bar's handling of said issues, has it facing an online backlash.

Do you think people commenting have a point? Did this bar go too far? 

Some are saying that not only are the actions of the bar--tossing a firework, wrong--but that posting video of their doing it is only adding insult to injury.

It's clear that nobody has much context on this particular situation. However, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to scroll and see that the bar has clearly been having issues with one particular homeless man.

What options do Boise businesses have if they don't want someone on their patio? Could the man be trespassed for being on private property by Police?

If so, what's the guarantee that he won't return?

It's a complicated issue that begs answers and perhaps, some understanding for the business.  Defense of tossing a firework, however, has yet to be found.

In a world where bullies want to rule the world more and more--can't we all be a bit more kind?
