I am a lover of all things music--that's a large reason as to why at a ripe 14-years-old, I had such a strong interest in working for a radio station. Of course, I learned there's a lot more to what we do than play songs but fast forward a decade and radio is, simply put, my life.

Along with working here at the radio station, I often get some really unique opportunities. Of of my favorites is being able to hear music before it's released. We have some really great friends in the record industry that reach out or fly in to play a song that will hit the airwaves and streaming platforms soon.

Last week, I had the chance to listen to a song by BlackPink and Selena Gomez that hand't yet been released. I listened to it and sure enough--loved it. It's different and totally reminds me of that M.I.A. song "Paper Planes". Once the song came out, I checked out the music video and to my surprise...uhhh...BOISE STATE!?

If you watch the music video (which I have included, below), you'll notice that one of the singers is rocking Boise State sweats for the entirety of the music video. BlackPink is a KPop group and to my knowledge, don't have any ties to Boise?

Maybe you can help me out if you know the story behind the sweats...but-- nevertheless, check out the video below and see if you can spot the Boise State look! I first saw them at :23 seconds in!
