Boise State Is Being Considered To Host ESPN College Gameday

Boise State has had one heck of a season so far. They've gone a crazy winning streak dominating in the new Pac-12 conference for the first time ever. Their only loss comes from University of Oregon IN Eugene AND it was the first game of the whole season. Honestly, that's a pretty acceptable ONLY loss so far.

Now that Boise State has dominated so much they are even in consideration for the College Football Playoffs. This week the College Football Playoff committee ranked Boise State 25th out of all of the College football teams. They even said that if the season ended this week they would take the 12th seed in the College Football Playoffs. Now, things continue to get more serious for the team as they fight to make their way to the playoffs and this includes some tough remaining match ups.

On November 14th Boise State will play Oregon State who up until this past weekend was still in consideration to make it the College Football Playoffs as well. Despite being 6 and 3 on the season Oregon State is still a great football team and this will be one of Boise State's biggest match ups.

Because of this there have been rumors circulating about Boise State hosting ESPN's College Gameday. This hasn't happened since 2010! Now people are really hoping these rumors could become a reality. It would be awesome to have ESPN College Game Day headed back to the Blue.

On ESPN's College Gameday podcast they did entertain the fact that Boise is a possiblity for next week. Rece Davis said

“It almost got completely obliterated on Saturday night by the big Texas State comeback and Oregon State fell. I’m not saying we’re going there, but it’s certainly an attractive one.”

Never did I think I would be cheering for another team but hopefully Oregon State wins this weekend! Hopefully after this weekend Boise State and Oregon State remain a key match up and we get ESPN College Gameday returns to the Blue!
