It has been a VERY long time since I've had to make plans for Valentine's Day, but even I know that if you aren't making plans by now...you're already behind. Yes, even amid a global pandemic.

I would be lying if I said I didn't despise Valentine's Day a little bit.  If you're in a relationship and you're happy--cool, I'm all for having a day to celebrate that. The commercialization however is that pesky noise that seems to come around during every holiday. Gifts, spending money, being materialistic... and so on.

Well, you can rant all you want about why it's an ANNOYING holiday like me but whatever you do, if you're in a relationship, situationship, or entanglement... don't be that GUY/GIRL/THEM!

Even though things aren't "normal" right now, there ARE options for dine-in date nights and you'll want to make a reservation if it isn't too late already.

According to Yelp, here are the MOST romantic dinner spots in Boise!

    Chandler's

While this Boise date night staple comes in THIRD for most romantic, it was actually ranked 6th most romantic in the NATION by Trip Advisor just a couple of years ago. Known for steaks and fresh seafood, Chandler's is located in Hotel 43 on Grove Street downtown. I can't say enough amazing things about this dinner destination.

    Barbacoa

Located off of Parkcenter Boulevard in Boise, Barbacoa is more than a great restaurant--it's a full blown experience. A hot rock filet is the go-to but if you're like me and you dig some veggies, REQUEST the vegetarian menu and there are some stellar options there, too. I just discovered that little gem!

    Luciano's

A self-called "hole in the wall", this well known Italian restaurant is sure to be a nice night out. Love Italian food? You're going to love Luciano's...maybe even more than you love your date! Just don't tell them that.
