Boise’s Treefort: A Beer Lover’s Dream With 50+ Breweries On Site

It's here, it's happening, and if you're not partaking it's time to GET OUT of the office and down to Treefort!

An annual celebration of music, community, and all things that make Boise special-- Treefort weekend is well underway across the many parks, venues and stages in and around downtown Boise.

It seems that merely 'getting outside' has folks in the Treasure Valley excited and ready to go--a full on beer festival? Sign us up.

This isn't just any 'beer fest' or 'tasting' -- it's Alefort and it's an annual staple to our beloved Treefort weekend.

Located inside of Julia Davis Park, Alefort offers al sorts of beers and ciders from OVER 50 breweries that are both local, regional, and international.

Beers will cost you tokens--which are $3.75 each (each beer costs a different number of tokens) so make sure you're not walking around with tons of cash. The festival is FREE and open to the public so you can 'window shop' before you token up!

Beers will be divided up by category at Alefort to include:

• Light & Crispy Beers
• Dark & Malty Beers
• Hoppy Beers
• Tart & Funky Beers
• Barrel Aged Beers

New for us to try this year? The CHUGGY BAR!

Alefort calls these beers, and we quote, the 'pound n' go' beers that is 'basically a keg stand for adults'.  They say it's a marathon not a sprint but depending on what you're trying to accomplish at Alefort or this weekend-- maybe the Chuggy Bar is up your alley!

But wait there's more! 

Anticipate a CIDER BAR for those apple lovers, a ZERO PROOF BAR for non-alcoholic and Kombucha options and yes--even a WINE BAR that will feature wines from across the region and globe.
