Boise State Enters National Chat, Cracks Into Top 25 Rankings

It has been a big week for Boise State football and a big reveal made just this afternoon is only amplifying the enthusiasm.

The Broncos are just four games into their season and they've done something that hasn't been done since preseason of 2025! 

They have cracked into the Top 25 Rankings.

Last year, the Broncos started the season ranked but after playing just one season opening game, which resulted in a loss, they fell out of the rankings and never returned.

Boise State, just like last year, lost their season opener. This time around, however, was different. The Broncos went to #2 ranked Oregon and despite the loss, 'won', in many ways. Leadership says there are no 'moral victories' but it seemed the experts and the national critics disagreed.

Boise State has won all three games since then and two are very important: the game against Memphis, which many considered to be a contender for the College Football Playoff Spot and Western Michigan, a team that the entire nation believed should have and did defeat the University of Michigan just weeks ago.

Amid all the drama and noise, Boise State simply continues to win.

Now, the pollsters have seen enough.

This of course puts Boise State in position to make the College Football Playoff; they just need to keep winning.

Easier said than done, right?

The Broncos host Utah State on the blue this week and the regional rivalry should call for another full house at Albertsons Stadium.
