Brundage Ranked One Of The Best Ski Resorts In America
There is a reason why Idaho continues to show up on "Top 10" and "Best Of" list. The masses are quickly discovering our little corner of the world and all the hidden gems that make it so special. It's always so interesting how we humans take things for granted because for better or worse it's all we know, to us Brundage is just the place where we snow board every year. Personally, Brundage is the place where I learned to board on my 30th birthday. It's also the place where Jake ripped his elbow cap off of his arm and didn't go to urgent care till 4 days later. I've affectionately referred to that hospital bill and the Brundage tax. Brundage is a place where many of us have created memories and based on USA Today's "2020 10-Best Reader's Choice Contest for Best Ski Resort." so have people from around the country.
Brundage has been voted the second best ski resort in North America, When you look at the top 10 list you can't help but to be impressed. The next thought that might be popping into your head is... who beat us? The number one spot went to Sunshine Village in Banff, Alberta, Canada.
"The nature of this contest makes this award especially heart-warming," said resort spokesperson, April Whitney in an interview with ktvb. "Above all, we want to thank all of our supporters who participated in the voting. For a locally-owned resort like Brundage to beat out much larger and better-known contenders is truly amazing."
General Manager, Ken Rider told ktvb "It's really exciting to see Brundage Mountain's name right up there with these other industry leaders," "Most of these contenders have large footprints, ski-in/ski-out lodging and a broad range of amenities."
Which methodology was used to determine the Top 10? According to USA Today "The finalists were nominated by industry experts and the public had four full weeks to register votes for their favorites." Ski season at Brundage starts on Nov. 27. Check out the full USA Today list below.
