My personal belief is that we're all put on earth to make a positive difference in the lives of others. I feel so strongly about this that I believe making a positive difference in someone else's life is the most important and rewarding thing we can do while of earth. BSU alumni or not, Alpha Chi Alumni or not, this is an opportunity for you to make a positive difference locally. Domestic violence is an alarming reality and I love that our youth is proactive on this front. Whether you know a victim or not, please accept this invitation to join these students in their quest.

The women of Alpha Chi Omega would like to invite you in joining hand in hand with us in our fight against Domestic Violence. Did you know that more than 1 in 3 women and more than 1 in 4 men in the United States have experienced rape, physical violence, and/or stalking by an intimate partner in their lifetime?

Mr. Alpha Chi is a male pageant in hopes to not only crown our sorority sweetheart but also raise awareness for domestic violence prevention and healthy relationships. All the proceeds will go to the Women's and Children's Alliance located here in downtown Boise. For more than 30 years the WCA has provided the critical services than women, men and children all need in order to heal from domestic violence. These services include but are not limited to; shelter, court advocacy, therapy, support groups, residential classes in financial literacy, nurturing parenting, life skills, etc. It is through events like Mr. Alpha Chi that we are able to contribute and support the WCA in all the incredible work they do for this community. We would be honored if you joined us in supporting such an amazing cause.
