You know things have gotten serious when BSU is furloughing everyone who makes over forty thousand per year. Broncosports. com describes the BSU head coach like this:

Bryan Harsin, a former Boise State quarterback, assistant coach and offensive coordinator, is in his sixth season as the head coach at his alma mater in 2019. Harsin boasts a record of 64-16 at Boise State, an average of more than 10 wins per season. Overall, he is 71-21 as a head coach – including one season at Arkansas State – and has led his programs to bowl games in each season as a head coach.

By that account this guy has done a stand up job but this is proof that COVID-19 spares no one. According to ktvb, Harsin makes $1.65 million in base salary and will have to accept a ten day furlough along with most of the Boise State coaches and athletic department employees. Furloughs are being mandated by School President Marlene Tromp based on BSU having lost 10 million because of the Corona virus pandemic.
