Sometimes as adults we wonder if we can actually make a difference in the world. As children we believe anything is possible but as we grow up the cold harsh world tends to rub off on us and all of a sudden we stop believing in the magic that comes from good human nature. This should serve as your reminder to never stop believing and never stop doing your part to make a positive difference.

A while back an adorable Caldwell, Idaho five year old heard that the Idaho Humane Society was running low on pert food and decided that she wanted to help. With the help of her mom, she spend an entire day creating paintings that she and her mom could sell and then use the money to buy food for the pets. Elliot completed 20 paintings that day but after her mom posted the works of art on Facebook a total of 50 were sold helping her raise about $900.

If a 5 year old can make this much of a difference, imagine what us as adults can do. By the way People magazine found out about Elliot and is featuring her story on the nationwide publication.  Elliot’s mom, Alyssa Bailey-Hallock told ktvb in an interview.

“We truly had no idea that an afternoon of painting was going to be so impactful. Thank you to all of you who bought her paintings and donated! You are part of this!

“And yes, Elliot is happy to autograph your copy of the magazine!”
