After Viral TikTok, Idaho Shows Up For Boy Battling Leukemia

It's something that a parent couldn't think of even in their worst nightmares: your own child being checked into a children's hospital for leukemia.

This nightmare has been a reality for one family in Caldwell and through it all, they can now say that support from their own community as they navigate these challenges is loud and clear.

Just days ago, Ashlie, a local mom, created a video on TikTok explaining her situation. Her son, Levi, has been in the children's hospital battling leukemia--and with a 6th birthday coming up, she knew that a 'conventional' birthday wasn't an option.

Ashlie asked for help. Could some folks from the Caldwell area drive by the home of the family, honk, and show Levi some love?

The request that began as a small ask of her friends and neighbors turned into something that has made headlines nationwide--millions of views later.

It was a heartfelt plea from a local mother--that turned into something so much bigger than anyone could have imagined.

On Saturday, April 25th, THOUSANDS of cars drove by Levi's home. But that just doesn't do it justice.

What folks have been seeing and reading news simplifies just how big the turnout was.

Local police shut down numerous roads near the family's home--including major intersections and roundabouts. The line to the neighborhood was miles long, at one point curving and directed by police through Vallivue High School's parking lot.

We were in line to drive by and honk....for three hours.

The community went ABOVE AND BEYOND for Levi and it's something you would only see right here in Idaho-Home.
