It's such a magical time of year.

You're strolling down the street with someone you love. A chill is in the air. Christmas music is playing in the background. Children are playing, laughing, and enjoying all the joy December has to offer.

...and then you stumble upon a house with a 12-foot artificial skeleton in their front yard, complete with a Santa hat.

That's not normal, right?

What can you do if your neighbor has a 12-foot skeleton on display for Christmas?

Unfortunately, unless your neighborhood has an HOA that actually follows through on stuff, there isn't much at all you can do.

There's no laws (that we were able to find) that legally forbid a homeowner or renter from displaying a skeleton as a part of holiday decor on their edifice.

So, if your neighbor has Skelly followed by eight tiny reindeer staring at you from their front yard, you'll just have to wait until Santa visits and they take it all down.

Yes, it's a little intimidating rolling up on a giant 12-foot-tall skeleton when you're not ready for it. Even more terrifying? A 20-FOOT-TALL monstrosity ready to invade your nightmares and never, ever leave.

Yes, this is 100% real. These pictures are not photoshopped.
