Here in the Boise area, crime is minimal. We love our area and our community--but what we love most is the way that so often, we find ourselves looking out for one another. Even despite all of the insane growth that has happened here over the years, the peace of mind that many Idahoans have when it comes to public safety is unlike anything else, anywhere in the country.

Unfortunately, every now and then, someone has to ruin it for us all.

Investigators at the Mountain Home Police Department, and beyond, are seeking answers and community help in identifying a group of folks that attempted to break into and rob an ATM at a local Pioneer Federal Credit Union.

Do you recognize any of these criminals?

It's amazing that despite the fact that we all know there are cameras everywhere these days--and that the camera quality is quite good--people still attempt things like this.

In a statement released by the Mountain Home Police Department, the following was shared:

At approximately 1:45 a.m. on Tuesday, June 3rd, two to three individuals attempted to break into the ATM at the main branch of Pioneer Federal Credit Union.
We are asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspects. If you recognize anyone in the surveillance images or have any information that could assist in the investigation, please contact Elmore County Dispatch at 208-587-2100 and ask to speak with an officer.

Obviously, we're hoping that together, the community can help identify these folks and get this kind of stuff off of our streets--even if it was just an attempt.
