If one were to name some of the most popular people in Boise or frankly, the entire State of Idaho--some of the first names to make the list other than Aaron Paul would be sports related.

Think of the legends that have come out of Boise State, alone. Ashton Jeanty, Kellen Moore--and the legend: Chris Petersen.

Coach Pete led Boise State's football program through 'the glory days' and even when he moved on to his next coaching venture, there was never an ounce of anger or bad blood for the guy that put Boise State on the map- in fact, as longs as the teams weren't playing one another, many Bronco fans were newfound Washington fans, when Chris Petersen was at the helm!

It's no secret that Boise holds a special place in Coach Pete's heart.
