Summertime in the Treasure Valley is a special time all around. Patios are open, concerts are bangin', outdoor activities are alive, and pools are splishin' and splashin'!

While we can't wait for Pumpkin Spice season and halloween decorations--we're definitely still in the thick of summer weather. In fact, we just recently broke a weather temperature record for Boise and triple digit heat is very much present.

What does that mean for cooling off?

For the most part, Treasure Valley schools are either open or about to open, so during the day our local kids are at school. Not every kid (or adult) however is in the classroom just yet--so can we talk about cool off options? There are plenty around town, but local pools will always be one of our favorite (and most affordable) options!

Since summer is winding down, some pools have closed and others are updating their hours.

Here's your guide to the state of City of Boise pools right now:

Some pools are closed, others are limiting their hours. Here's a look!

Which of these Boise pools is your favorite?

Don't forget that there are plenty of other options if city pools aren't your jam. You could hit a movie theatre, get into Roaring Springs, we won't even judge if you're just wanting to lay out in front of a box fan.

However you stay cool, make sure you're doing so out there, Treasure Valley. These temperatures don't seem to be going anywhere just yet.
