The crime spree that spanned six states has finally come to a close.

Two weeks ago, we clued you in on the 'Dollar Tree Robber', a thief that was stealing cash from Dollar Tree stores in Wisconsin, Michigan, and New York. Soon after, police in Coeur d'Alene were on the lookout when a Dollar Tree there was robbed. Overall, the bandit, who's name hadn't been released at the time of this writing, spent six weeks knocking off different Dollar Store locations.

He was finally captured, but nowhere near Idaho.

After his final successful robbery of a Dollar Tree in Connecticut, the FBI found the Dollar Tree Robber and arrested him inside an Indiana casino. Yes, this case was getting so deep that the freaking FBI got involved.

UPDATE: The man has been identified as 53 year old David S. Hunter. He's currently being held for charges stemming from a May 6 robbery.
