We've all heard of artists throwing fits or coming up with excuses to not perform. I once wrote a blog about the ridiculous demands that are contained in the artist rider's (agreements.) A bowl of M&M's but only red ones and nothing else, New toilet seats, Fresh flowers. Katy Perry asked for a mute driver, Mariah Carey wanted kittens in her dressing room. All of these are enough to make you go WTF, but when I saw the headline below on foxnews.com I was like WTF!!! X2.

"Coldplay refusing to tour over environmental concerns."

After reading their reasoning behind not wanting to tour, I kinda get it, keep in mind that Coldplay did a world tour in 2016 and 2017 for their "A Head Full of Dreams" album. While on the tour, the band performed 122 shows on five continents. I'm tired just thinking about that.

Read what they said and see what you think.

"Our next tour will be the best possible version of a tour like that environmentally," Martin further noted. "We would be disappointed if it's not carbon neutral.”

"The hardest thing is the flying side of things. But, for example, our dream is to have a show with no single-use plastics, to have it largely solar-powered,” the singer continued.

"We've done a lot of big tours at this point. How do we turn it around so it's not so much taking as giving?"

Interesting? Or disappointing?
