Coronavirus Related Cancellations Today

What a day! The Coronavirus is wreaking havoc on life as we know it and this may be a case of as they say "better safe than sorry". yesterday President Trump cancelled travel and trade coming in from Europe starting Friday and this morning the rest of America reacted. Here are my text alerts of things that we're postponed or cancelled today.

1. Major League Soccer suspends season for 30 days

2. Bifg Ten, SEC,ACC other conferences cancel basketball tournaments.

3. Big Sky conference championship tournament in Boise cancelled.

4. NAIA National Basketball tournament has been cancelled.

5. NHL to suspend season amid coronavirus concerns.

6. Mountain West conference suspends spring competitions.

7. MLB suspends spring training, opening day pushed back.

8. NCAA cancels March Madness tournaments over coronavirus concerns.

9. Disneyland closing California parks through March over coronavirus.

10. All Mountain West spring sports competitions now cancelled.

Please keep in mind that these are all precautionary measures and that Idaho has zero coronavirus confirmed cases. I'm not a fan of scare tactics but I am a fan of awareness and information and this is why I share my personal information flow. The amount of information and random headlines that we receive on a daily basis is ridiculous, I will ask you to keep this in mind... Follow the money trail, most of these events have been cancelled due to sponsors pulling out or promoters who are weary of being sued. This goes without saying but the key is to practice personal hygiene. This too shall pass.
