Cruise & Box: The Pretty Girl At Chipotle
Yesterday I fell in love with a girl at Chipotle.
And completely blew it.
Tawsha and I went to grab some lunch at Chipotle downtown, and the girl behind the counter was spellbinding. When we finished eating, I did what 99% of men in my position would've done: Nothing. I left. With my tail between my legs.
It's just awkward to approach a girl when she's working, right? I can't fathom how to do that and not come off creepy.
Luckily, fans on the 103.5 Kiss FM Facebook page had some solid advice.
Rachel Garcia says:
Smile and wave! If she smiles and waves back wait a lil, randomly making eye contact, then just walk up to her and introduce yourself! If you're over 30 dont start out with some extreme gesture. As a single mid 30's woman, that can be a bit strange, even scary for some.
Brooke Jorgensen says:
I've been internet dating for about 6 years! (Not proud by any means.) and I would love for a guy to actually walk up to me and start a nice open conversation, tell me he would enjoy continuing the conversation over dinner and give me his number. It doesn't have to be long or drawn out. It doesn't need a big gesture. Just genuine. Also never ask a lady to "hangout" take her on dates that means you respect her and want to treat her as such. And phone calls are almost non existent, so try having a phone conversation. I miss the nights where I would talk to a guy until the sun came up. Maybe I'm being too picky and that's why I'm still single.
Darcy Richeson-Johnson says:
Smile!!! Your smile is amazing! Seriously girls love a great smile, and great teeth!
Safe to say next time we go to Chipotle, I'll be ready. Ready to eat my burrito bowl in silence and shame.
