I had no idea until recently that in a neighborhood not far from my own house, there's a weekly gathering of food trucks that I could have been eating lunch or dinner at this entire time. Talk about some SERIOUS oversight on my part!

One of my favorite things about Boise's food scene is that so many of the best bites you can grab, are from one of the many food trucks in town. On that note, we've even seen many popular food trucks open up into brick and mortar locations after seeing such popularity and success.

If you've ever been over to Harris Ranch, you know how cool of a part of Boise that is but with the exception of just a couple of restaurants--there isn't much to do. It's a heavily residential area. That has changed and I'm checking it out this weekend!

The Switchback, as it has been coined, is an entire park for folks to eat and food truck to roll up and serve food at! It's a pretty crazy cool concept! This is open from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Fridays Saturdays, and Sundays.

In order to find it, just search for 3000 S. Old Hickory Way in Boise in your preferred maps app. This will get you right there.
