Downtown Prepares to Light Tree

Christmas is right around the corner (I know this, because KISSmas is already among us), and with Christmas, comes one of the most fun events for your family and friends all year! The downtown Boise Christmas tree lighting ceremony inside of the newly renovated Grove Plaza, happens this week, on November 25th, at 7:00 p.m.

Typically, this event really packs out the Grove Plaza so I would recommend getting there with plenty of time to see the tree. Mayor of Boise, Dave Bieter.

During the event and leading up to the lighting, there will be activities and photo opportunities for kids, as well as live carolers and a candle lighting ceremony for everyone in attendance.

This is basically the epitome of the Christmas season in our awesome city, so if you have never been I would highly recommend you go.
